lyrics

Hidden Valley
(Patrick Dunfey)

Wasn't it you who said that
A hidden valley
Could be a lovely place to live
Now when the sun goes down, you ride into town
You ride away from Hidden Valley

And all of the Blues that I have been singing
All of the things that I don't do no more
Like feeling alone when I'm alone
Out here in Hidden Valley

This place is driving us crazy, Baby! Can we sell it?
Sell off the horses and kill off the cows
I'm not to blame, it's in your name
Nothing's the same out here in our valley

Out of the West a stale wind is blowing
Off toward the East where the sun never shines
Like it or not, this is my plot
Rotting away in our valley

We were alone in our Hidden Valley
but now I'm alone in this hidden valley
We were alone in our Hidden Valley
but now I'm alone in this valley
